little fragmented movies
It sounds just like a summer night, crickets sing in a yellow light
it feels good to listen
I stepped out, the smells, they got me good
twenties, teens, and my childhood
doesn't feel like they're linear
They're stacked, this piece on top of that, building something not lying flat hoping it's something that's better than bad.

Never ending little list of chores, tack on more
Keeps me spinning, keeping me upright, propped upright
